PMLA court sends Anil Deshmukh to 14-days judicial custody

Mumbai, Nov 6: The Special PMLA court sent the former home minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh to a 14-days judicial custody.

Notably, He was arrested on Nov 1 in a money laundering case. The Mumbai Court in November 2 remanded Anil Desmukh to Enforcement Directorate’s Custody for 4 days. ED on Thursday summoned his son Hrishikesh Desmukh also for questioning on Friday in connection with the money laundering case. Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh alleged Anil Desmukh that he was involved in several wrongdoings, including asking Sachin Waze to collect Rs 100 crore from bars and restaurants in Mumbai.
