Political parties meet under Special Voter Revision Programme 2023

Ramgarh, Nov 17: A meeting was organised in the collectorate hall with the representatives of recognized political parties in the chairmanship of Additional Collector Ramgarh  Nelsom Ayon Bage under the Special Voter Revision Programme 2023.

Sub-Divisional Officer-cum-Election Officer of the 23 Ramgarh Vidhansabha Constituency Mohammad Javed Hussain informed everyone regarding the Program 2023 to strengthen the election process.

Here, it is very important that every eligible voter has a voter ID. He appealed to the representatives of all political parties to make their contribution to the campaign. The SDO said, “You can get information about any process, various applications can also be submitted through the voter helpline.”

He further informed everyone about the benefits of linking their Aadhaar card with a Voter ID card and urged them to make other people aware of it.

Land Reforms Deputy Collector Election Officer 22 Barkagaon Vidhansabha Constituency Manoj Kumar Ranjan appealed to provide the list of booth-level agents to the District Election Office as soon as possible.

Earlier, Executive Magistrate-cum-District Deputy Election Officer Vishal Kumar informed all the present officers and representatives of recognized political parties about the work done so far under the Programme.

He said that applications can be received for registration, correction and deletion of entries in the voter list from November 9 to December 8. Under the program, persons who are completing 18 years of age can also apply to get their names added to the voter list after January 1, 2023.

Meanwhile, during the period of the Programme, a special campaign was organised at polling stations on November 12 and 13, while a special campaign will be organised on November 19 and 20.  On the occasion, Kumar appealed to all the representatives to depute booth-level agents in their areas as soon as possible and make their respective lists available in the district election office and contribute to getting the names of every person who fulfils the qualification included in the voter list.

During the meeting, voter lists were made available to the representatives of all the recognized political parties by the District Deputy Election Officer.
