Ranchi: Jharkhand’s senior police officer Pujya Prakash has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police (SP) for the state’s Crime Investigation Department (CID). This appointment follows an order from the Director General of Police (DGP), which was released by the Inspector General (IG) of Human Rights. The Election Commission of India has also granted approval for this placement.
Previously, Pujya Prakash served as the SP of Bokaro but was transferred due to health concerns. His new role is expected to bring valuable experience and leadership to Jharkhand’s CID, aiding in effective crime investigation and management.
