Ranchi, Nov 18: The people of Ranchi will be unable to access the services of the Radisson Blu as the teams of India and New Zealand have arrived in Ranchi for playing a T20 match at the JSCA stadium.
For the security of the players and match officials, the whole hotel is isolated and a bio bubble area is created at the hotel. In the bio bubble area only players, match officials and selected staff will be allowed.
The staff members of the hotel from the different departments have been selected which will also stay in the bio bubble. They will perform their duty by keeping a distance of 2 yards from the cricketers.
Apart from the selected staff of the hotel, all the other staff will also not enter the bio bubble area. While RT-PCR tests of all the hotel members have also been done.
The players of both the teams arrived at Ranchi Airport by chartered aircraft at 3:15 pm after which the players of both the teams reached the hotel by bus.
The match is going to be played on November 19 with full occupancy of the spectators at the JSCA stadium after the removal of the government’s restriction on Tuesday.
On the other hand, advocate Dheeraj Kumar of Jharkhand High Court has filed a PIL in Jharkhand High Court against the opening of 100% seats for spectators.
After a gap of 4 years, the T20 International match will be played at this stadium. The entry of spectators for this match starting at 7 pm will be made from 4 pm.
