Ranchi, April 25: Former chief minister and BJP national vice president Raghubar Das today alleged Chief Minister Hemant Soren of making a mockery of democracy saying the state government in Jharkhand is of a family, by a family and for a family.
“Ek Parivar Ka, Ek Parivar Ke Dwara, Ek Parivar Ke Liye Shashan,” Das said.
Das alleged the chief minister of allotting 11 acres of tribal land to his wife’s company, Soharai Live Private Limited, at Bera Industrial Area at Bijupada under Chanho Block for meat processing.
Apart from this, the former chief minister also alleged CM Hemant Soren of allotting 11.70-acre land on 10- year lease to his press advisor Abhishek Prasad alias Pintu’s company, Shivshakti Enterprises, at Pakaria in Sahibganj for mining purpose and 6.25-acre land to his representative Pankaj Mishra’s company, Maha Kal Stone Works at Mari Mauza in Sabihganj.
Das said tribals voted Soren to power for the protection of “Abua Dishum” and “Jal, Jungle and Jameen” but the latter is misusing his power and has done nothing in this direction.
Presenting examples, Das said to ensure the proper right to Sarna he had introduced a religion column in the caste certificate but the Soren under the influence of Christian missionary silently removed the column on February 24 this year and paved the path for getting government jobs to those tribals who after converting their religion are taking benefit of being tribals and minority at the same time.
Das said Muslims are trapping tribal girls in ‘Love Jihad’ in Ranchi, Lohardaga, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahibganj and Dumka besides other parts of the state to grab tribal land but the state government instead of taking measures to stop the same removed the religion column from the caste certificate to promote the act by which one-day tribals will reduce to the minority.
Das presenting another example said the Soren government filed an affidavit in the high court terming that order of BJP government by which Moolvasis and Adivasis were given priority in appointment in class III and IV government jobs for 10 years.
Das said trees are being felled in the forest illegally, government land is being grabbed and there is a crisis of water. He said the level of corruption is so high that no work is being done without the payment of a bribe. He said recently district forest officials have asked the deputy commissioner in Dumka to take action of ousting three youths who are involved in the illegal transportation of coal under the patronage of the chief minister.
Das levelling allegation sought clarification from the chief minister.
He justified the demand for clarification saying that the department of mines and industry is being looked at by no other than the CM.
Das said his party will soon apprise the governor of the situation and ask him to act in this matter.
