“This self-declared Congress Prince has crossed all the limits. This man has become extremely dangerous for India’s unity. Now he’s provoking the people to divide India. India’s most popular & loved Hon Prime Minister @Narendramodi Ji’s only mantra is ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’,” tweeted the Union minister.

“People of India know Rahul Gandhi is Pappu but foreigners don’t know that he is actually Pappu. And it’s not necessary to react to his Foolish Statements but the problem is that his Anti-India statements are misused by the Anti-India Forces to tarnish the image of India,” said Kiren Rijiju in another tweet.
Rahul Gandhi in his Cambridge University speech slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on several occasions and drew the saffron camp’s ire for ‘defaming India.’ He also accused PM Modi of destroying the democratic architecture of India.

“India is a union of states. It is a negotiation and if you try to force one idea on a union, it will react. I have got a Sikh gentleman sitting here. He is from the Sikh religion. We have got Muslims in India, Christians in India and different languages in India. They are all India. Mr Narendra Modi says he is not. Mr Narendra Modi says he is a second-class citizen in India. I don’t agree with him,” said Rahul Gandhi in his Cambridge speech.
During his UK tour, Rahul Gandhi gave a lecture at his alma mater and spoke at different gatherings, stoking controversies with his remark about BJP, Indian Parliament and Opposition. After his statement, BJP leaders accused him of insulting India on foreign soil.
Earlier too, Rahul Gandhi had made similar remarks during an interaction with the Indian diaspora in London. He launched a scathing attack on the ruling BJP and said that at the heart of their ideology is cowardice, mentioning External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s remarks on China.
