Kurukshetra: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi participated in a training camp for district presidents in Kurukshetra, Haryana, where he used martial arts techniques and spiritual symbolism to explain his political strategy against the BJP and RSS.

Martial Arts Demonstration at Training Camp

Rahul Gandhi attended the final phase of a 10-day training camp in Kurukshetra, wearing martial arts attire and demonstrating jiu-jitsu techniques before Congress leaders. He arrived in Kurukshetra on January 21 via Ambala and actively took part in the sessions, blending physical discipline with political messaging.

Linking Politics, Hierarchy and Strategy

According to reports, Rahul Gandhi illustrated political hierarchy through live demonstrations, positioning district presidents in different physical postures to symbolise power structures and authority. He emphasised that politics, like martial arts, requires understanding hierarchy, balance and control rather than brute force.

Lessons from Lord Shiva and Inner Strength

During his address, Rahul Gandhi referred to Lord Shiva, explaining the symbolism of the three horizontal ash lines on Shiva’s forehead as representations of body, soul and consciousness. He said these elements coexist without merging, teaching leaders to remain focused, fearless and strong while trusting their inner strength.

Using Opponent’s Energy to Win

Rahul Gandhi explained that in martial arts, the goal is to tire the opponent by redirecting their strength. Applying the same principle to politics, he urged Congress leaders to face BJP leaders with strategy and patience rather than surrendering. He said BJP and RSS aggression should be neutralised by turning their own energy against them.

Confidence in Long-Term Political Fight

He concluded by saying that staying active and consistent would eventually exhaust political opponents. Rahul Gandhi expressed confidence that this approach would ultimately weaken aggressive BJP politics, leading to their defeat over time.
