Ramgarh, Aug 16: On the direction of Assistant Commissioner of Excise Ajay Kumar Gond today, with the help of armed home guards, intensive and extensive raids were conducted at Topa Colliery under the Mandu Police Station area.
Various brands like Royal Stag, Mc Dowell No 01, Sterling etc were found during the raids. A total of 45 bottles (17.655 litres) of illegal foreign liquor of B7, Old Monk and other brands of different sizes were seized.
Sub-inspector Congresh Kumar, SI Amit Madki and armed home guard jawans were present in this campaign. In the raid operation, one accused has been arrested under section 47(a) of the Excise Act.
