Rail over bridge to be built in Patratu, announces MP Jayant Sinha

Hazaribag, July 9: With the efforts of MP Jayant Sinha, a rail-over bridge will be built at the Patratu railway crossing in Ramgarh district. Sinha who met Union Railway Minister Aswini Vaishnav in this regard, today said Rs 65 crore was sanctioned for this purpose.

Sinha said he always strives for the expansion of rail services and facilities in the Hazaribag parliamentary constituency. As a result of his efforts, various rail-related works are being done in the area.

According to him, he had requested Vaishnav some time ago for the construction of a rail over bridge near the Patratu railway crossing located at Ramgarh district. Due to the lack of over bridge here, the residents of the area have to face heavy jams and inconvenience. On his request, Vaishnav has given approval for the construction of an over bridge here. It will be constructed here at a cost of Rs 65 crore, which will be completed in the next 18 months, he informed. Lakhs of people of Koyalanchal including Patratu will be benefited from the construction of over bridge at Patratu railway crossing. The residents of the area will get relief from jams and the traffic will become very smooth and safe.

Sinha said he meets the Railway Minister from time to time and keeps speeding up and getting approval for various railway works in the parliamentary constituency. His effort is to provide all the best facilities to his area residents.
