Ramgarh: 19 injured as Nepal bound bus collides with truck in Kejhiya valley

Ramgarh, April 22: A bus and truck collided in the Kejhiya valley located in the Dulmi block of the district today. 19 passengers were seriously injured in the incident.

The bus riders were on their journey from the Balangir district of Odisha to Deoghar in Jharkhand to Nepal. Many passengers were trapped in the bus after the accident.

 

The trapped persons were taken out with the help of Dulmi’s social worker and 30 points president Sudhir Mangalesh and local people. The passengers who suffered serious injuries were admitted to the hospital.  At the same time, first aid to some people was done in the Tehsil Kachahri.

Police reached the accident site after receiving the information from Sudhir Mangalesh. The Odisha administration and MLA of Balangir were also informed about the incident.

 

 

Meanwhile, Sudhir made arrangements for food and drink and accommodation for all the passengers.
