The Principal cum Regional Officer, while addressing the children said, “DAV Public School i.e. Dayanand Anglo Vedic Vidyalaya, a social and religious reformer, works to maintain the memory of Swami Dayanand Saraswati after his ascension to Indian independence. The Aryans opened the DAV in Lahore on 1st June 1886.”

“DAV’s main objective is to do welfare of the world through knowledge and science. The credit for establishing DAV in the Jharkhand region goes to Narayan Das Grover. Following in the footsteps of Mahatma Narayan Das Grover, I am trying my best to keep the flame of education burning continuously in our area. We are all studying and teaching in DAV as a result of the sacrifice and labour of these great men,” she added.

The principal further said, “It is the largest non-government organization in the country, which is engaged day and night in providing true patriots to the nation by awakening the light of education in the whole country. Wherever our children go, they are establishing their supremacy on the strength of hard work.”

The celebration concluded with chants of ‘Shanti Path.’
