Ramgarh, May 4: Under the Prime Minister’s TB-free India campaign, a programme was organized at Sadar Hospital on Thursday under the chairmanship of DC Madhavi Mishra. The DC, earlier, on the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day on March 24, 2023, had announced to adopt five TB patients and provide food baskets to them during treatment, after which food baskets were made available to the patients on Thursday by her.

She said that to make the whole country TB free by 2025, it is very important to work in this direction in a planned manner and everyone should contribute to this. She gave detailed information to everyone regarding the identification of TB disease and various misconceptions related to it. She added that people should widely publicize the treatment of the disease, identify the symptoms of the disease and convey this in all the offices, private institutions, hospitals, agencies etc. Along with this, she appealed to all capable people to adopt patients according to their ability and work in the direction of whatever help they can provide to the patients, with the aim of eliminating TB disease from the country.
