Ramgarh DC inspects works under Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Rurban Mission in Patratu block

Ramgarh, July 6: Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra along with Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Kumar Sinha visited Patratu block on Wednesday.

The DC inspected the works being done in the block through the convergence of other schemes including MNREGA, 15th Finance Commission and DMFT under Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Rurban Mission.

In the course of the inspection, the DC first inspected the bridge being built under the DMFT item in Hariharpur Panchayat, during which she reviewed the progress and gave necessary instructions regarding the completion of the work keeping in mind the quality.

Later, she went to Barghutu and took stock of the education being provided to the children through smart classes under Rurban Mission in the village.

On the occasion, she made the children aware of the importance of education and coming to school regularly. She inspected the Model Anganwadi Center in Barghutu village and took stock of the basic facilities available there.

 

 

Taking information about the work being done by the Child Development Project Officer, Patratu, Anganwadi Sevika and assistants, DC Mishra is directed to benefit more and more villagers through the centre.

In Melani village under Hariharpur Panchayat, the DC inspected the fish cage culture and hatchery development works. She inquired about the work being done by the fish farmers and the changes that have been brought in their lives. She directed the officials to extend necessary cooperation to the fish farmers while asking other villagers to join the work to receive benefits.

In the Beecha Panchayat, the DC took stock of the works done so far under the ‘rural hot and cold storage’ under construction under Sutharpur village. Here, she directed the officers to regularly visit the area to review the progress of the work and give benefit to the villagers by completing the work at the earliest.

In the course of the tour, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Panchayat Bhawan Beecha and inquired about the benefits being provided to the villagers through Panchayat Bhawan.

During the inspection, Block Development Officer Patratu Devdutt Pathak, Executive Engineer Rural Development Special Division H.N Singh Rural Development Convergence Specialist Vandana Bhagat, Area Planning Officer Ashutosh Kumar and others were present.
