Ramgarh DC reviews progress of work by Drinking Water and Sanitation Division

Ramgarh, March 17: Deputy Commissioner Ramgarh Madhavi Mishra reviewed the work being done by the Drinking Water and Sanitation Division at the collectorate hall in Ramgarh on Friday.

During the meeting, Ramgarh DC gave the necessary instructions after receiving information about the ongoing schemes. She also conducted a survey through the Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers to ensure 100 per cent water supply at schools and Anganwadi Centres. Along with this, she provided necessary instructions to ensure the water supply for tourists at the Palani Waterfall tourist spot under Patratu block.

Meanwhile, Ramgarh DC instructed all the concerned Executive Engineers to complete the schemes in a planned manner before the onset of the upcoming rainy season and to work with relevant authorities regarding the boundary walls in Anganwadi centres and schools.

While reviewing the works being carried out by the Building Construction Corporation, Ramgarh DC directed officials to complete the construction work of the residential schools for girls in the Dulmi and Chitarpur blocks as soon as possible.

Moreover, Ramgarh DC issued directives related to providing other facilities for tourists, including the work of stairs railing, in view of developing the Mayatungari mountain under Ramgarh town in the field of tourism. She also instructed to take the necessary steps to ensure the functioning of all street lights in the Valley.

Ramgarh DC asked the Executive Engineers of the Rural Development Special Division, Building Division, Road Division, and Rural Works Department to complete the work on time after receiving information on the works done under various schemes and the work under the remaining projects.

Notably, Deputy Development Commissioner, district-level senior officials, officers, executive engineers and others attended the meeting.
