The portal has been set up by the Department of Labour Planning, Training and Skill Development. Hemant Soren said that his government is committed to provide jobs and employment to youths of the state and the portal will provide a platform to employers and candidates looking for jobs. Employers can share information about their business and manpower requirements on the portal.

In the case of employment for a post having a salary up to Rs. 40,000 a total of 75 % posts will be reserved for local people.

All such establishments have to register themselves on this portal. From the date of effect of the Act, if any recruitment notice is published by establishments covered under this Act, 75% local (Jharkhand) will have to be appointed.
