Ramgarh, Jan 19: A controversy has started after the announcement of Dilip Dangi as Ramgarh district president by the AJSU party. Former district president of AJSU Vijay Sahu has resigned from all the posts of the party.
Vijay Sahu said,” I gave the golden time of my life to AJSU and never had any intention to contest elections from Barkagaon or anywhere. I only wanted to be in the post of District President till 2024 so that I can make the organization stronger.”
“Sudesh Mahto had assured me of this yesterday also. But today, Dilip Dangi was made the District President. Sudesh Mahto said that Roshanlal Mousa was adamant to make Dilip the District President,” he added.
“I made every effort to make Roshanlal Chaudhary win the Barkagaon assembly elections. But he did the work of stabbing me in the back. I didn’t have any respect at all,” Vijay Sahu said, adding that thousands of workers are asking AJSU to leave the party.
However, for the last 15 years, Vijay Sahu was seen as a hardworking and honest leader of AJSU. The news of his resignation from all the posts came to the AJSU workers late in the evening. After this, there has been a vigorous discussion of factionalism. This dispute may become a cause of trouble for AJSU in the coming times.
