Ramgarh, Aug 22: A major action was taken by the Excise Department of Ramgarh against illegal liquor on Tuesday. Under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner of Excise Ajay Kumar Gond, a raid operation was conducted in the Gobardarha area of Kaitha under the Ramgarh police station area.
During this, 272.925 litres of illicit liquor were seized in a total of 885 bottles of different brands. 50 cartoons of empty bottles of different brands, 10 bundles of different brands of labels, three cartoons of different brands of lids, two bundles of product adhesive labels from the same spot were seized. Hologram and one three-wheeler were also seized from the same place.
A person named Chhaldev Mahto was arrested. Assistant Commissioner of Excise Ajay Kumar Gond, Inspector Congresh Kumar, Assistant Inspector Amit Madki, the police force and others were present in the raid team.
