Ramgarh, March 6: With a view to saving the residents of the district from adulterated food items during the upcoming festivals, various food establishments in the district were inspected on Monday by the District Food Safety Officer.
District Food Safety Officer Dipashree under Ramgarh city, visited Gopi Ram Restaurant Thana Chowk, Raj Rasoi Chatti Bazar, Gopiram Workshop Gola Road, Marwari Hotel Workshop Kisan Nagar, Sharda Restaurant Subhash Chowk, Khushboo Sweets Bus Stand, Yadav Milk Bhandar Bijulia, Shalimar Workshop Kisan Nagar, Maa Bhavani Hotel Bijulia and Umesh Store Block Chowk.
Notably, food items, cleanliness and other food safety rules were checked. During this, the fine was collected from the shopkeepers/operators who did not operate the food establishments as per rules, while samples of sweets and other food items were also taken from various establishments.
On the occasion, the District Food Safety Officer appealed to all the residents of the district to beware of adulterated foods during the festival and informed the people about the measures related to it, while the District Food Safety Officer also checked the food license and registration of the food establishments.
