Ramgarh, Oct 21: A case of sharing private pictures on social media by a youth after having physical relations with a girl on the pretext of marriage has surfaced in Nawadih Panchayat of Ramgarh district.

The victim girl has made serious allegations against 26-year-old Vikas Mahto, a resident of Petarwar, in a written application in West Bokaro filed on Thursday.

The 18-year-old girl, a resident of Nawadih in the West Bokaro OP area, said that the accused youth had physical relations on several occasions by luring her to marry. She said that the young man also put vermilion on her head.

However, four-five days ago, her objectionable picture was made viral on Facebook by making two fake IDs. Not only this but an objectionable picture has also been posted by creating a group on WhatsApp.

“He defamed me by sending this picture to my sister and many others,” the girl said.

West Bokaro OP in-charge said that on the statement of the victim, a case has been registered against the accused under sections 376/504/506 and 66(E)/67/67(A) IT Act 2000 of the Indian Penal Code in West Bokaro OP. Further probe is on.
