Ramgarh, June 18: The preparations for the Kaitha Rath Yatra Festival have been completed by the organizing committee. It should be noted that according to the tradition when Lord Jagannath’s sister Subhadra and brother Balabhadra are unwell, they are removed from the throne and taken to a holy place. The Lord remains in Agyatvas for fifteen days and reaches the main temple at Ratharudh on Shukla Paksha Dwitiya of Ashadh month.
Regarding Rath Yatra, Organizing Committee President Devdhari Mahto said that all the preparations related to the event have been completed. There is enthusiasm about the fair in the area, people are busy in preparations. On the other hand, Secretary Rajesh Mahto said that the fair complex has been prepared for organizing the Rath Yatra. Many entertaining swings, Mickey Mouse, etc. will be the center of attraction for children at the fair. Giving information, he said that Giridih MP Chandraprakash Choudhary and special guest Ramgarh MLA Sunita Chowdhary would attend the Rath Yatra festival as chief guests.
The chief priest BN Chatterjee said that on the day of Ashadh month Shukla Paksha Dwitiya, all three deities will be bathed and re-seated on the throne. The doors of the temple will be opened for devotees from early morning.
