Ramgarh Municipal Council organises ‘Waste to Art’ exhibition

Ramgarh, Nov 19: A ‘Waste to Art’ exhibition was organized by the Municipal Council, Ramgarh under the Swachh Survekshan 2023 in the Swachh Bharat Mission.

Different types of artwork and decorations were displayed by the students of various schools under the program. The exhibition was inspected by the Sub-Divisional Officer cum Executive Officer, City Council, Ramgarh Mohammad Javed Hussain.

Ankit Kumar, a student from Gandhi Memorial Plus Two School was awarded the first prize while Nidhi Kumari of AISECT University Hazaribagh bagged the second and Annu Kumari of Gandhi Smarak Plus Two High School Ramgarh bagged the third prize for their creations.

The Sub-Divisional Officer cum Executive Officer gave a citation under Swachh Change Champion to Safai Mitra and Jamadar working in Municipal Council Ramgarh for work related to better cleanliness. He motivated the students to participate in other works under the Waste to Art program and to keep the city council clean. Pritam Kumar, the city manager and all the employees of the city council and others were present in the program.
