Ramgarh: Newborn baby girl recovered from bushes in Mandu

Ramgarh, Oct 17: Mandu police under the Ramgarh district received information on Monday morning that an alive unclaimed newborn baby girl was thrown in the bush near the Gargali water tank under the Mandu police station.

The police recovered the baby and took her to the Mandu Hospital for a checkup. Later, she was referred to Sadar Hospital Ramgarh. After treatment, she was handed over to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) in Ramgarh.

CWC Chairman Kailash Kumar said, “The baby is newly born. Her oxygen level is low. She is under treatment. After treatment, we will decide to send the baby to either Child care centre Ranchi or Hazaribagh.”
