Ramgarh, Sept 16: A case of abduction and rape of two minor girls came to light in Harna village of Barlanga police station area under ??Ramgarh district on Thursday. Two youths named Sachin Mahato and Murain Mahto kidnapped and raped both minors who came out of the house to defecate.
According to Barlanga police, “Both victims are close relatives. They were at their house and their relatives were not at home. On Wednesday night, the duo came out of the house for defecation. Seeing the girls alone, two youths kidnapped them, went to the forest and raped them.
Ramgarh SP Piyush Pandey directed the Barlanga police to arrest the accused and send them to jail. Following the SP’s instructions, Barlanga police taking quick action arrested both the accused and forwarded them to judicial custody.
Barlanga police station in-charge Shyamanandan said, “As soon as the police got information about the incident, they conducted a raid and arrested both of them. Both the victims have been sent for medical examination.”
