Ramgarh, Feb 1: Ramgarh police today arrested a 19-year-old youth Roshan Kumar on charges of murder. The police also recovered the murder weapon, a mobile phone, a bike and other items from Roshan.
Addressing a press meeting today, the SDPO Kishore Rajak said that the accused has confessed his crime of murdering an 18-year-old boy Priyanshu Prasad.
Notably, Priyanshu was missing since January 26 and his body was fished out from a well in Kisan High School, Dabhatu on January 30.
The police said that Roshan killed Priyanshu because they both were in love with the same girl and it was a case of a love triangle.
On the night of the incident, the accused called Priyanshu to the spot with the help of his so-called girlfriend. He then brutally murdered Priyanshu and threw the dead body into the well, as informed by the police.
