Ramgarh: Rajrappa police recover goods with fake labels of Tata Tea

Ramgarh March, 19: Rajrappa police carried out a raid on a rented house on the Chitarpur-Rajarappa road on Saturday. The police seized a substantial amount of fake items that had the trademark of the Tata Tea Company in them.

Harinandan Singh, the in-charge of Rajarappa Police Station, oversaw the inquiry. Singh stated that employees of the Tata Tea Company assisted him in locating goods that were worth a few lakh rupees. A total of 534 packets of 250 grams and 430 packets of 100 grams of fake tea leaves of Tata-Tea Company were found. While 1700 pieces of empty packets of the company have been found.

Furthermore, 1200 empty bottles of  Marico Company and 1040 filled Jasmine oil bottles were received. 80 kg of loose tea leaves were also found. 

Finally, with the active cooperation of the Rajrappa police and the firm representatives, the items with fake labels of the Tata tea corporation were seized.
