Ramgarh, Dec 27: After the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued the guidelines to prevent coronavirus outbreaks, arrangements are being made in the hospitals of Ramgarh to combat covid. Doctors and healthcare workers are on alert mode. The availability of necessary resources including beds, ventilators and oxygen in the hospitals is of particular importance.
Ramgarh DC Madhavi Mishra said that the civil surgeons are making special preparations at the Trauma Center, CCL Central Hospital, Naisarai and Tata West Bokaro Hospital, in view of a new variant of coronavirus.
Dr Prabhat Kumar, a civil surgeon, said, ” The health sector has sufficient resources to fight against Corona. Four oxygen plants in the district Sadar Hospital, Trauma Center, CCL Naisarai and West Bokaro Tata Hospital, oxygen plant is fully operational. Also, beds and ventilators are in sufficient quantity”.
There will be no inconvenience in sample testing. Sample testing will begin as the RTPCR machine has been installed at Sadar Hospital. Doctors are also trained to test samples using RTPCR machines. Work on sample testing will only begin receiving a license from the Indian Council of Medical Research, he added.
He further said that vigilance is necessary to prevent corona. He urged people to adhere strictly to corona prevention guidelines issued by the government.
