Ramgarh, Jan 15: Varsha Srivastava, wife of SDPO Ramgarh Kishore Kumar Rajak, has lodged an FIR against him in Ramgarh police station on January 14 under section 341/323/325/308/498 (a).
She said in the FIR, “My husband tried to strangle me. I saved my life somehow. Then he kicked and hit me severely on my head, due to which I fainted. He poured water on me and when I regained consciousness, he again grabbed my hair and hit me on the head causing serious head injury.”
“I have lost sight in my right eye, and I am also having hearing problems in my right ear. Later, my husband ran away leaving me in the room and instructed all the cooks and guards of the house not to let me go out of the house. Even before this he has assaulted me many times,” the FIR further reads.
After the incident of assault, SDPO’s wife got herself treated at the hospital. Varsha Srivastava has said in the application given in the police station to register an FIR in this matter so that the life and property of her and her 2-year-old son can be protected.
SP Ramgarh Prabhat Kumar in this regard said, “FIR has been lodged as per her complaint. After investigation we will take further action.”
