Ramgarh, Oct 31: A 6-year-old boy died after falling into a sewage chamber in Barkakana OP area’s Nayanagar Barkakana.
According to the information, the son of Ramgarh resident Sandeep Ram had come with his mother to his maternal grandfather Ratan Ram’s house in Nayanagar Barkakana. He returned from Chhath Ghat in the morning.
After eating the prasad, he went to play in the field behind the house. When the child did not return home for a long time, the family started searching for him.
While searching around, the child was found to have fallen in the sewage chamber. With the help of family members and local residents, the child was rushed to CCL Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
After the incident, up on receiving information of the incident, Barkakana OP in-charge Vinay Kumar reached the spot along with the police force and has begun the investigation.
