Ramgarh, Dec.10: SP Ramgarh Prabhat Kumar has given orders for SDPO Kishore Kumar Rajak to once again take over the work of three police stations: Gola, Rajrappa, and Barlanga.

The continuing issue between the SP and SDPO Kishore Kumar Rajak has been resolved as a result of this decision. The SDPO has been once again tasked with the execution of all works in Gola, Rajrappa, and Barlanga, according to the work order issued by the SP, in light of the order issued by the DGP and the IG in this respect on December 7.

On October 21, 2019, the SP delegated to the DSP (HQ) the obligation of carrying out all of the aforementioned three police stations’ work which was earlier under the Ramgarh SDPO’s jurisdiction.

SDPO Kishore Kumar Rajak had opposed the SP’s decision to remove these police stations from his jurisdiction. He had sent a written complaint to the Home Secretary, the DGP, and other officials to express his dissatisfaction with the situation.

In the letter, the SDPO stated that the Home Department and the DGP had issued orders and directed the SPs of all districts that the work area or police station areas of the Sub-Divisional Police Officer or DSP in any district of Jharkhand could not be changed without the approval of the Council of Ministers.

The Ramgarh SDPO then filed a written complaint with the Scheduled Castes Commission, Home Secretary, and the DGP when this directive was not followed. Following this, the SDPO filed a suit in the High Court against the SP.

After the filing of the petition, the Home Department and the DGP took a firm stance and issued the order to the SP once more. Following this, the SP revoked his previous order and assigned Ramgarh SDPO to the police stations of Gola Rajrappa and Barlanga.
