Ramgarh, Sept 27: An exhibition was organized at Sri Agrasen School, Bhurkunda on Tuesday on the occasion of World Tourism Day. Various models, pictures and facts about tourism-related places related to all 24 districts of the state were displayed in the exhibition.
The event gave information about tourist places, industries, dams, waterfalls, forests, mountains, religious places, minerals, folk traditions, language, and culture among other things of all the districts under the theme ‘Re-thinking tourism.’
The chief guest, educationist and social worker Mary Stella Michael, while visiting the exhibition appreciated the event and boosted the morale of the children. “Our Jharkhand is famous for its diversity. We can offer domestic as well as tourists from across the country and abroad to visit here. Tourism affects not only the economic values ??of a country or region but also social, political and cultural values. We should move towards continuous improvement and expansion of tourism facilities,” she said.
