Ramgarh, April 27: Tata Steel West Bokaro Division in association with the Ramgarh Police organized an awareness session on the prevention of cybercrime at Tata Steel Foundation Auditorium last evening. The chief guest of the session Piyush Pandey, SP, Ramgarh along with Anurag Dixit, General Manager, West Bokaro Division was present on the occasion.
Various issues were discussed to explain the importance of cyber security through a presentation by the SP on the occasion.
The objective of this session was to create awareness among the community to avoid cyber crimes. In the session, the SP elaborated on the different types of cyber crimes like viruses, malware, phishing, fraud, ATM impersonation, cloning and causing financial and social loss through social media. Apart from this, he also explaiend the ways to avoid it. He said that the only way to avoid cybercrime is vigilance. He discussed other issues related to road safety. On this occasion, he urged people to spread this information to as many people as possible. Anurag Dixit also shared his views on the subject.
This session was very important for spreading awareness. Organizing awareness against cyber crimes has become very important these days.
Senior officials of the division, trade union officials and the officers of TSF were present on the occasion.
