Ramgarh: Techno-Utsav 2022 was inaugurated on Tuesday after the completion of 15 years of OP Jindal community college Ucharinga Patratu. The Utsav will conclude on December 3.
The objective of this festival is to promote innovation in the field of technology. The techno-fest was inaugurated by JSP plant head Sanjay Sinha. He congratulated all the teachers, headmasters and students on the completion of 15 years of OPJCC and said that they should continue to do excellent work for society through OPJCC.
Notably, Omprakash Jindal Community College Private ITI is an institute affiliated with the National Council of Vocational Education and Training under the Directorate General of Training Technical Handicraft Scheme, Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India.
The founder of Jindal Steel & Power was the dream of industrialist Om Prakash Jindal. In order to fulfil this dream, on the initiative of Naveen Jindal, Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power, Om Prakash Jindal Community College was established in the year 2007 to impart technical education to the Balkudra area in Patratu and for the development of the area.
Principal Ajay Pandey said, “OPJCC has trained about 1.5 lakh people in the last 15 years and has given jobs in the country and abroad.”
Many higher educational institutions of Ramgarh district have also been invited to the techno-festival 2022.
