Ramgarh, July 5: A class IX student died in a road accident on Tuesday near Danish petrol pump at Hehal under Barkakana in Ramgarh. The incident took place when three students were going on a bike from Patratu to Middle School Barkakana to appear for the class IX board examination.

However, the bike fell near Danish petrol pump in Hehal. Ayush Pandit, a student riding the bike, fell on the road and died on the spot after being runover by a hyva coming from behind. The other student suffered minor injuries.

After the accident, one of the students took the bike and escaped from the spot. The police arrived and sent the deceased student’s body to Sadar Hospital Ramgarh along with the injured student.

Police have seized the hyva and have sent it to Barkakana OP. The relatives of the students have been informed.
