Ramgarh, Feb 11: Two minor children were fished out from a pond near Maa Chhinnamastika Sponge Iron Factory located in Hehal. Both victims were brothers.
The two sons of Ambwatand resident Sethilal Karmali named Yashraj (8) and Raghav Raj (6) had gone out at 3 p.m. in the afternoon on Thursday afternoon. When the children did not return till 5 p.m., their father started searching for them.
In this sequence, the slippers of the children were found on the bank of the pond. On suspicion, Sethilal started searching in the pond. During this, the bodies of the children were recovered from the pond.
The people of the village gathered at the spot after getting the information about the incident. Barkakana OP in-charge Mantu Chaudhary reached the spot and took the children to Sadar Hospital where doctors confirmed their death.
Sethilal had only two sons. Both were studying in the Hehal Upgraded Middle School. Yash Raj was a student of class II and Raghav Raj was in class I.
Police recover man’s body from well in Gola’s Dhamnatand
In another incident, the body of a person was recovered by the police in a well of Dhamnatand village of Gola police station area of the district. In the afternoon, women working in Bari spotted the dead body.
Soon a crowd of villagers gathered near the well. They gave this information to the local police and Mukhiya Bajrang Kumar Mahatha. With the help of the villagers, the police fished out the body from the well. The body has not been identified yet.
Villagers said that no one goes to the well from where the body was found. Sometimes, irrigation work is done in the well. Also, the road to reach there is a difficult one. The police have started an investigation on all the points.
