Ramgarh youth begins foot march to travel across Jharkhand

Ramgarh, Dec 22: A Ramgarh resident, Chandan Gupta (25) has decided to travel through 3500 km across Jharkhand covering all the districts on foot within the next six months, without money.

On Thursday, the man reached Rajrappa were, after taking blessings at the Chhinnamastika temple, the local AJSU student workers and office bearers welcomed and encouraged him.

His objective of the Jharkhand Yatra is to observe the lost history of Jharkhand, its own ancient identity, and learning about the cooperation of Jharkhand’s freedom fighters for the country, Gupta said. He also wants to learn of the tourism culture, food dishes, and the importance of tribal origin festivals.

Subin Tiwari, Anurag Bhardwaj, Raj Kumar Giri, Sandeep Singh, Bipin Tiwari, Vijay Saav, Rajdeep Poddar, Krishna Kumar, Jogi Mahato among others were present during the welcome programme.
