Ranchi: 160 DSPMU students get job offers by top-notch IT companies

Ranchi, Aug 5: A total of 160 students of the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University of CA and IT departments of session 2019-22 are in various companies.

Notably, this is the first time that such a large number of students have received placement in different companies in a single session.

Ashish Pathak, one such student has received placement in Amazon at a package of Rs 8 lakh annually. Apart from Amazon, he has also been selected by 10 other companies.

Similarly, Neeraj Kumar has been selected by seven different companies. Around 80 students have been selected by Wipro. Other companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Astom, Cognizant, LTI and Intel were present at the placement camp at the campus.

VC Dr Tapan Kumar Shandilya while congratulating the selected students said that resources will be increased in the university in the coming days so that children can perform better. He further said that the students would be specially prepared for placements and that the selected students have shown their talent at this level is commendable.
