Ranchi, May 14: The Amity University, Jharkhand ended the two-day ‘Board of Studies for implementation of New Education Policy’ for the new academic session.
Notably, the amalgamation of industry and academia through the board of studies was done to bring about the best education facilities for the students at Amity University. There were more than 100 internal members and 21 external members including all the departments of the university to provide their suggestions and made the Board of studies a success.
Prof (Dr) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand said, “The New Education Policy is designed to lead the country and the future generation in a new direction of hope and to implement the same Amity University, Jharkhand is organising the present Board of Studies.”
He further added that the NEP, which has brought in revolutionary changes in curriculum in both school and higher education, has opened new opportunities and skill-based education will equip students to stand better qualified in the job market.
Prof (Dr) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand said, “It is imperative to implement the New Education policy through Board of Studies and so we have experts from industry and academics to provide the best of their suggestions which will be utilized for shaping the young minds who are the nation builders. This will escalate the quality of education equally for strengthening India as the global superpower.”
The meeting came to an end with fruitful discussions on all academic matters including ‘Introduction of a new Academic Programme’, ‘Revision of a programme’, ‘Review of academic rules’, among others from the industry and academia experts which will be implemented at the university from the new academic session.
