Ranchi builder ‘grabs’ land of lady promising 4 flats

Ranchi, May 2: A lady Gangotri Devi knocked on the door of Argora police station after a builder Phool Chand Sahu, who had taken her four Kattha land promising four flats in lieu of that, did not give her any flat.

 

The lady through her FIR said the agreement was signed on April 13, 2009. She alleged that after she mounted pressure for the flat the builder threatened her with dire consequences.

 

Officer-in-charge of Argora police station Vinod Kumar confirmed the FIR saying Sahu had earlier cheated many persons in the same.  A police official said as many as 5 cases have been registered against Sahu at the Sadar police station.

 

Asked Kumar regarding the action in the matter, he said Sahu is yet to be arrested.
