Ranchi, Dec 6: Businessman Vishnu Agrawal got the mutation of a tribal religious land (Sarna land) at Dela Toli, Kokar in his own name at a time when revenue employees across the state were on strike. In the whole case, Circle Inspector Virendra Kumar Sahu prepared a fake field report, and mutation was done on the land without legal possession.
Moreover, Account No. 94 of Tiril Moja, Plot No. 625 is the said land where people belonging to the Sarna religion offer long prayers every Thursday.
According to the villagers, the Jatra fair has been organised on that land for about 50 years. The Bargai Zonal Officer has rejected the mutation application of this land in the past as well. The total area of the land is 1 acre and 12 dismal.
During the period when the revenue employees across the state were on strike, on December 29, 2022, three mutation applications were rejected. The case number of the first mutation application is 1150/R 27/ 2022-23, by which mutation of 10 kattha, 6 kattha and 7 kattha land in plot number 625 of account number 94 was done.

An attempt was made to talk to him by contacting Bargai Circle Officer Manoj Kumar but the call was diverted to some other number. When the quote was taken from Circle Inspector Virendra Kumar Sahu in this matter, he said that there was an encroachment on the land that’s why mutation has been done.
Moreover, the Sarna flag is hoisted on the land and on one side of the same land, more than a dozen women are living in a weft room to encroach on the land.
According to the villagers, more than a dozen women of the ‘Gulabo gang’ are living there to encroach on the land. The women present said that they have nothing to do with this land and they are led by Jayshree Das, a resident of Booti More.
When contacted, Jayshree said that they are social workers and they are in support of Vishnu Agrawal only because they have seen all the documents and papers of the land.
