Ranchi: Engineering dept of Usha Martin University gets AICTE accreditation

Ranchi, July 29: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has provided accreditation to the Engineering Department of Usha Martin University to conduct diploma courses. 

Talking to the press representatives, Professor Dr Madhulika Kaushik said that the process of taking permission started 2-3 months back. All the standards were met by the university. 

Prof Kaushik also said that the students here will get a lot of benefits by getting AICTE accreditation. 

“They will get benefit in further studies or getting a good job. It is a matter of joy for the university that we have got recognition for five subjects related to engineering,” she said.

A maximum of 60 seats have been recognised in all five subjects.

Prof Kaushik, Vice Chancellor, while thanking the team of the university, especially appreciated the continuous efforts of Dr Abhishek Pandey and Rahul Gupta.

Usha Martin University has been recognised for Diploma courses in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mining Engineering.
