Ranchi: Under the directive of the Municipal Commissioner, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) conducted a comprehensive inspection drive on Wednesday to check holding tax, trade licenses, and water tax compliance at residential and commercial establishments in Ward 15.

The inspection covered prominent hotels on Station Road, including Hotel Shanti, Hotel Ujala, Hotel Usha Kiran, Hotel Ashoka, Hotel Raman Palace, and Hotel Stellar.

Advisory To Commercial Establishments

During the drive, the Assistant Administrator directed hotel operators to ensure timely payment of taxes. Commercial establishments were also advised to acquire valid trade licenses. Residential properties being used for commercial purposes were instructed to obtain commercial holding status at the earliest, failing which action would be taken by the municipal corporation.

Officials present during the campaign included the Municipal Manager, tax collectors, PMU representatives, and representatives from Messrs. Shri Publication and Stationers.
