Ranchi: Plan to convert Albert Ekka Chowk-Kutchery Chowk-Jail More road four-lane

Ranchi, Oct.1: The Jharkhand government is planning to get rid of the problem of traffic congestion in the city.

It was experienced today after principal secretary of state urban development department Vinay Kumar Chobey accompanied by a section of department officials did spot verification to prepare a blueprint for broadening of roads and construction of under passes.

There is a plan to convert Albert Ekka Chowk-Kutchery Chowk Road and Kuchery Chowk to Jail More four-lane with drains along both sides of the four-lane road. Apart from this, there is also a plan to broaden the road connecting the old police line with Ranchi Municipal Corporation office and Municipal Corporation Office to Bargain Bazar.

The urban development department has planned to construct an underpass in between Shaheed Chowk and Radium Road and Karam Toli to Albert Ekka Chowk to ensure a limited number of traffic on Circular Road where traffic congestion is a perennial problem.
