Ranchi, Aug.2: The Ranchi police recovered three bodies near railway tracks at two locations in the state capital.
Two bodies, one male and one female in their twenties, were recovered on a railway track adjacent to Argora station in the Argora police station area in the heart of Jharkhand’s capital. So far, it has not been identified.
Brij Kumar Jha, the officer-in-charge of the concerned police station, confirmed the recovery, saying that the matter appears to be an accident at first glance.
“It appears that one died after slipping off the train, while another died in order to save the first. However, it will be too early to make any conclusive statements until the bodies are identified and someone comes forward to claim them,” Jha said.
A male body was discovered on a track near Balsiring in the Nagri police station area, on the outskirts of Jharkhand’s capital. The body was identified as Sambhu Munda (60), a resident of Kute in Tiril, according to S.P (rural) Harifh Bin Jama.
“His son, Bablu Munda, identified the body at RIMS and stated that his father had been missing for two days.” “A case of unnatural death has been registered in this regard,” said S.P. (rural) Jama.
