Ranchi, Dec 21: Ramgarh defeated Lohardaga 2-1 in the opening game of the three-day Chief Minister’s Invitational Football Cup held at Birsa Football Stadium, Morabadi.
The competition is being organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Jharkhand.
The chief guest of the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Development Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Yadav and the guest of honour, Dev Shankar Das, Under Secretary, Directorate of Sports, Government of Jharkhand, inaugurated the competition. The match was jointly coordinated by football coach Shahid Ansari and Puran Chand Mahali.
