Ranchi, Jan.6: Doctors at Sadar Hospital today ensured delivery by cesarean section of a lady, K.Devi, a resident of Getalhatu Neori, suffering from Covid-19.
Medical officer Dr Ajit Kumar informed this saying the team was led by gynaecologist Dr Tanya and anaesthetist U.C.Jha and the cesarean section was done in the afternoon.
“At the time when over a dozen doctors of Sadar hospital are corona infected, the doctors give due importance to their work,” Dr Kumar said.
“The woman delivered a baby boy weighing 2.21kg. After delivery the child and mother both are safe and have been shifted to the covid ward,” Dr Kumar added.
