Ranchi to host Vijay Hazare Trophy matches from Nov 12 to 23

Ranchi, Nov 8: The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) will be hosting matches of seven states in Ranchi during the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022-23 from November 12 to 23. A total of three matches across three different venues will be played every day.

The seven teams to play in Ranchi are Mizoram, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Bengal, Railways Services and Puducherry. The matches will be played at JSCA main stadium, JSCA oval ground (Inside the stadium’s premise) and Mecon Stadium.

Some international names such as Ajinkiya Rahane, Shardul Thakur, Prithvi Shaw, Ruturaj Gaikwad, etc will also take part in the 50-over domestic tourney.

Notably, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Ranchi will host Vijay Hazare’s league-stage matches. BCCI is organising a full domestic season for the first time since 2020. The Vijay Hazare Trophy will be held from November 12 to December 2, 2022.
