Ranchi University to begin classes in online mode till Jan 15

Ranchi, Jan 4: The Covid Cell of Ranchi University met on Tuesday at Ranchi University under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Kamini Kumar. In the light of the decision taken by the Disaster Management Authority of the State Government on Jan 3, the following decisions were taken during the meeting.

All classes of UG, PG are to be conducted in online mode till Jan 15 or the next decision by the state government. Teachers will have to come to the college/department for online classes and take classes as per routine. Colleges and universities will remain open for administrative work. Ph.D. viva can be taken either in online or offline mode and pre-submission seminar will be held in offline mode only.

Teachers have been instructed to submit Mid Sem marks of Semester 1 and 3 along with marks of practicals along with marks of Mid Sem of Semester 2 of PG till January 10.

Dr. Pritam Kumar, Deputy Registrar-cum-Spokesperson of the University said Registrar Dr. Mukund Chandra Mehta, Controller of Examinations Ashish Kumar Jha, Finance Officer Dr. AN Shah Dev, all Deans, Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar, Nirmala College, EDPC Dr. Gyan Singh and others were present during the meeting.
