Ranchi, June 9: Rashtra Bachao Andolan’s national vice-president Sunil Kumar Singh today demanded provision of remuneration to temple priests and capital punishment to those marrying Hindu girls by hiding their religious identity.

Singh was in Chatra today. His statement came after he prayed at Maa Bhadrakali temple along with his family members.

“There are approximately 4 lakh Mutths and temples throughout the country. They are occupied by the government. These Hindu religious sites’ offerings are deposited in the government treasury. In contrast, there are thousands of mosques and dargahs throughout the country that are not under the government control. Their contributions are received by their committees. On the one hand, the government deposits temple offerings in its treasury, which is cause for concern. Despite this, temple priests are not paid by the government. Despite the fact that the clerics’ salaries are paid by the government, the offerings of the same Masjid-Dargah are collected in their committee,” he said .

While talking about capital punishment to those marrying girls by hiding their religious identity, he said: “Today, in many states across the country, including Jharkhand, Muslim boys disguise themselves as Hindus and engage in illicit relationships with Hindu girls, trapping them in a false love trap, and when the truth is revealed, many Hindu girls, including Sakshi, are brutally murdered. They are committing brutal murder, such as dismembering the dead body, in order to destroy the evidence. The government is openly challenged for violating the constitution. Such individuals should be hanged at the crossroads. As a result, the person carrying out such incidents must think a thousand times before carrying them out,” he said.

He said if this is not done his organization will be bound to run a movement in the national interest in the entire country under the leadership of its National President Swami Sitaram Sharan ji.
