Ranchi, Jan 18: After missing the deadline of January 15 to complete the 100% vaccination in the district, the administration has geared up to complete the full coverage of the vaccination by January 26.

In Namkum-109.5% and in Ratu-102.6% of the first dose vaccination has been completed. Also, more than 90% vaccination (1st dose) has been completed in Ormanjhi, Burmu and Lapung,” he said.

“Ratu could become the first block of Ranchi district, where 100 per cent Covid-19 vaccination would take place. Till now both the doses of Covid vaccine have been given to 87.7% of the total population in the block,” he added.

As of January 16, a total of 30,20,308 doses of both the first and second dose have been administered among the 21,30,936 eligible population in the age group of 18+.
