Rescued from Andaman, Fucha Mahli gets benefit of Government-run schemes

Ranchi, Sept 6: On the directions of Chief Minister Fucha Mahli, a resident of Fori village in Gumla, who was rescued from Andaman after more than 30 Years of suffering as a bonded labourer, has been covered with benefits of the government schemes. On his arrival to Ranchi, Fucha Mahli went to Vidhan Sabha on Friday, to meet and thanked Chief Minister Hemant Soren for timely intervention. On the same day, the Chief Minister had directed officials to ensure that Fucha Mahli gets covered under the benefits of different government schemes. Following the directions, the officials acted swiftly and he has been covered with the benefits of different schemes.

As an immediate relief, the district administration Gumla has provided the family with more than 01 quintal of rice & pulses in addition to Rs 2000 cash. Apart from this, a Ration Card has been issued in the name of Fucha Mahli’s wife. Additionally, Fucha Mahli has been covered under the old-age pension scheme and allotted a house under PMAY.

” I had abandoned all hopes to see my family. All thanks to the Chief Minister due to his intervention not only I am with my family, but the administration has also provided us with Ration Card, food item, old age pension and they have also committed for a house…”, said Mahli after receiving benefits.
